MANILA, Philippines – Court of Appeals (CA) justices dominate list of shortlisted candidates for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s first appointee in the Supreme Court (SC).

The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) released the list of 12 names that it had forwarded to Marcos for appointment. The President will then choose his pick for SC associate justice who will replace retiring Associate Justice Mario Lopez.
