CPJ asks Chinese Embassy to end online attacks against PCIJ

MANILA, Philippines—The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) urged China’s Embassy in the Philippines to stop online attacks against the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ). This move prompted the embassy spokesperson on Wednesday to claim that “PCIJ rallied helpers to echo its anti-China narrative.”   CPJ said the comments of deputy spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy,
