Curlee Discaya brought to hospital for surgery — Senate secretary

MANILA, Philippines — Contractor Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya was transferred from the Senate detention facility to a hospital for shoulder surgery scheduled on Friday, Senate Secretary Mark Llandro Mendoza said. Discaya, who has been held at the Senate detention facility for contempt since September 2025, complained of pain in his right shoulder in early March 2026.
