MANILA, Philippines — Comedian Dennis Padilla expressed disappointment over how he was allegedly treated as "visitor" at the wedding of his daughter Claudia Barretto to longtime boyfriend Basti Lorenzo.
Padilla shared the ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 8, however, despite his presence, he claimed he was not given a role as the bride's father.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, he shared a handwritten note with the words, "Grabe kayo! Nabudol niyo [ako]! Father of the bride naging visitor! Galing niyo! (You're unbelievable! You tricked me! Father of the bride turned into a visitor! Well done!)"
He added in the caption, "Sagad sa buto (It hurts to the bone)"
In another post which was later on deleted as well, he said, "Kapal nyo. (You've got some nerve)"

Many speculated that he was not included in the key moments of the wedding such as walking his daughter down the aisle or even deliver a speech.
When a follower asked for clarification in the comment section, the actor confirmed, "I [don't] have a part sa program... Ayaw nila padala invites."
He also appeared to have taken down earlier posts celebrating a rare reunion with his children Julia, Claudia and Leon.
The Barretto-Padilla family issues were often publicized. Padilla has spoken openly in past interviews about his struggles to mend ties with his children, whom he shares with former actress and politician Marjorie Barretto.
Claudia has not made any public comment regarding her father's statements, nor have her siblings.
