Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado team up for 'Sanggang Dikit FR'

GMA Network gears up for the June 23 premiere of "Sanggang Dikit FR," an action light drama packed with suspense, twists, humor, and witty banter on GMA Prime.

Leading the series are real-life husband and wife, 'Kapuso Drama King' Dennis Trillo and 'Ultimate Star' Jennylyn Mercado. Known for their undeniable on- and off-screen chemistry, the couple brings a mix of heartwarming moments and unexpected comedy to the show.

Mercado stars as Roberta "Bobby" Enriquez, a bubbly yet highly competitive police woman. Alongside her is Trillo, who plays the role of Antonio "Tonyo" Conde, a skilled policeman who loves to improvise when it comes to solving crimes. Both burdened by personal losses, Bobby and Tonyo are brought together when a high-profile murder happens involving people who are very close to them. Will the case be closed while solving it apart? Or will their buddy-cop relationship help them heal from their past?

The series also stars veteran actors Roi Vinzon as Juaquin Guerrero, Al Tantay as Victor Santiago and Nova Villa as Lola Isang together with respected character actors Allen Dizon as Rodolfo Flores, Jeffrey Santos as Roman, Marina Benipayo as Sophia Guerrero.

Adding more spice to the series are Joross Gamboa as Eric Garcia, Liezel Lopez as Selena Madrigal, Juancho Trivino as Glen Guerrero, Sam Pinto as Cecilia Montero.Joining them are rising Sparkle stars Chanty Videla, Zonia Mejia, Kim Perez, Matthew Uy, Seb Pajarillo, John Vic De Guzman. The series also features the special participation of social media influencers, including Abdul and Marsy, Chef Abi, Shernan, Zaito.

The series is produced by the GMA Entertainment Group, headed by Officer-In-Charge and Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Assistant Vice President for Drama Ali Nokom-Dedicatoria, and Senior Executive Producer Mary Joy Pili.

The show's creative team consists of Creative Director Aloy Adlawan, Creative Head Des Garbes Severino, Creative Consultant Denoy Navarro-Punio, Head Writer Obet Villela, Writers Geng Delos Reyes and Tonio Rodulfo, Brainstormer Jimuel Dela Cruz and Jai Cañete.
