DepEd eyes the construction of over 2,000 classrooms with LGUs’ help

MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Education (DepEd) is working to build over 2,000 classrooms with the help of local government units. An investment worth P9.3B is being poured into this project. DepEd says the procurement for this school infrastructure initiative has already started. These partnerships are expected to produce 2,632 classrooms across more than 600 school
