DHL Express, the world's leading international express service provider, has added 22 electric vans (EVs) to its last-mile pick-up and delivery fleet.

With this integration, DHL Express now operates close to 70 EVs, which is 35 percent of its entire fleet. The electric vehicle fleet expansion signifies the company's commitment to its fourth strategic bottom line named "Green Logistics of Choice."

This development aligns with DHL Express' sustainability goals, which emphasize using alternative fuels, electric vehicles and optimized transportation routes to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

As part of "Strategy 2030 – Accelerate Sustainable Growth," DHL Group's goal is to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

In addition to electrifying its fleet, DHL Express also launched the GoGreen Plus service in 2023 that allows customers to reduce GHG emissions associated with their international air cargo using sustainable aviation fuel.
