MANILA, Philippines — Contractor Sarah Discaya appeared at the Malabon City Prosecutors' Office on Tuesday, December 16.
Discaya arrived at the prosecutor’s office on Tuesday afternoon. Department of Justice spokesperson Polo Martinez said that the complaint was filed by the local government unit of Malabon.
He also said that she requested the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for temporary release to attend the hearing and to secure all necessary documents.
Discaya left the prosecutor’s office the same day.
However, the complaints against Discaya have yet to be disclosed. Philstar.com asked Martinez about the nature of the complaints, but he has yet to reply.
On December 10, Discaya said she went to the NBI because she felt “safe.” However, she insisted that her appearance there was not a form of surrender.
