MANILA, Philippines — DMCI Homes, the property development arm of the Consunji Group, is bullish on its growth in the leisure property segment following strong reservations sales posted by the company’s second project under its leisure brand, DMCI Homes Leisure Residences.

DMCI Homes said that 84 percent of the nearly 700 condotel units in the first building of the Moncello Crest project in Tuba, Benguet have already been reserved since its launch in May 2024, translating to approximately P4.9 billion in reservation sales.

The sales success of Blanca building has prompted the launch of the project’s second building, Silva, which will offer another 52 units.

Located just minutes from Baguio City, Moncello Crest is an eco-agri development offering units ranging from 35 to 91.5 square meters, with prices starting at P7.95 million.

Moncello Crest’s Blanca and Silva buildings will be ready for occupancy by November 2028 and August 2029, respectively.

With the market’s positive response, DMCI Homes president Alfredo Austria said the company is keen on pursuing new opportunities in the leisure segment.

“We are encouraged to continue expanding our leisure portfolio to support this growing market,” Austria said.

The company’s third and upcoming leisure development will be located in Laguna.

Moriyama Nature Park in Laguna is a premium Japanese onsen-inspired project designed to tap into the rising demand for domestic tourism among Filipino families and travelers.

“If ever, it will be a condotel with events facilities. Initially, less than 100 units,” Austria said.

However, Austria said it is still uncertain if the project can be launched this year.

“We’re trying to finish the planning and design and permits before the end of the year, but not sure if we will be able to finish because we might redesign something there,” he said.

DMCI Homes Leisure Residences is the new brand of DMCI Homes offering resort condotels in sought-after vacation destinations all over the country.

Solmera Coast, its first leisure project, was launched in August 2023.

The project captured the interest of both investors and beach enthusiasts, being the only tropical Asian-inspired beach park condotel in San Juan, Batangas.

Following the success of its Solmera Coast property,DMCI Homes Leisure Residences introduced last year Moncello Crest in Benguet.
