DOJ greenlights tax cases vs. Sarah and Curlee Discaya

MANILA, Philippines—Government prosecutors have indicted contractors Cezarah Rowena “Sarah” Cruz Discaya and Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya II for two separate tax cases. “We can report that two will be filed with CTA (Court of Tax Appeals),” DOJ Spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez told reporters Tuesday. “The complaints are for violations of Sections 254 (Willful Attempt to Evade or Defeat Taxes) and
