DOTr urges LGUs to do own PUV service contracting programs

MANILA, Philippines — Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez has urged local government units (LGUs) to implement their own public utility vehicle (PUV) service contracting programs. “Admittedly, we won’t be able to enroll all routes in the net service contracting program as of now,” Lopez said in Filipino at the Kapihan sa Manila Bay forum on Wednesday.
