DISTRICT engineer Brice Ericson Hernandez, who has taken over as officer in charge (OIC) of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan First District Engineering Office (1st DEO), promised to continue the district's infrastructure development efforts and drive progress in the area.
Hernandez replaced Henry Alcantara, who was reassigned as OIC assistant regional director (ARD) of DPWH in Region 4A (Calabarzon) effective June 13.
Alcantara, who served as district engineer of Bulacan 1st DEO for six years, replaced ARD Joel Limpengco, who was appointed as regional director of DPWH in Western Visayas.
Hernandez assured that under his leadership, the infrastructure project will be further improved and the effective service to the community will continue, building on the strong foundation and legacy laid by Alcantara.
"We are here to continue the good work started by ARD Henry Alcantara," said Hernandez. "Projects that will help bring relief to the daily lives of the people."
