DPWH to widen Cebu rivers in flood mitigation plan

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Tuesday said it will widen the Mananga River in Talisay, Cebu and other rivers to mitigate flooding after a series of storms that battered the province. The DPWH also said that it will enforce a “No Build Zone” around the rivers, emphasizing the
