DSWD resumes guarantee letters for medical, burial aid starting Jan. 5

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Tuesday said it has resumed the issuance of guarantee letters (GLs) for medical and burial assistance starting January 5, 2026. Eligible beneficiaries of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program are provided medical and burial services through the GLs. READ: DSWD
