MANILA, Philippines—Dwight Ramos isn’t going anywhere just yet.
On Friday, Levanga Hokkaido announced that it has come to an agreement with Ramos on a contract extension for the 2026-27 Japan B.League season.
“I want to thank Levanga for bringing me back for another season. I’m very excited to be coming back and continue to grow with the team,” Ramos said in a team release.

“We had a lot of success in our last season and because of that I want to experience more with the team and get a step farther this season in the playoffs and shoot for a championship. Thank you everyone for your support always.”
Ramos will return to a Levanga squad that narrowly missed last season’s playoffs.
The Gilas Pilipinas guard helped Hokkaido finish with a 37-23 record, four games behind Alvark Tokyo, which barely made the quarterfinals with a 41-19 card.
“Last season, he was one of the key players supporting the team’s success and contributing to our victories, but his potential is far greater than what we’ve seen so far,” said Levanga GM Ryota Sakurai.
The extension also means Ramos is expected to suit up for the B.League Manila Games in September.
Ramos and Levanga are set to face AJ Edu and Gunma Crane Thunders in a preseason game at Mall of Asia Arena.
