Dy, Gregorio headline SBP Forum guesting

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) and members of the Gilas Pilipinas squad bound for the Fiba 3×3 U23 World Cup will discuss their upcoming campaign in China and other national team matters at the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum on Tuesday, July 28.

SBP executive director Erika Dy, 3×3 program director Ryan Gregorio and Gilas men’s 3×3 coach JJ Espanola will headline the 10:30 a.m. session at the Philippine Sports Commission media room.

They will be joined by Gilas 3×3 players Karl Medina, Koji Buenaflor and Jhuniel Dela Rama.

Among the topics on the agenda are the Fiba 3×3 U23 World Cup, scheduled Sept. 15 to 19 in Wuhan, China; the Fiba Women’s Asia Cup; the second round of the Fiba World Cup Asian qualifiers at the Mall of Asia Arena; and the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan.

Gilas Pilipinas women’s head coach Burke “BT” Toews has also been invited to the weekly session.

The PSA Forum is presented by San Miguel Corporation, the Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, MILO and ArenaPlus.

The session will be livestreamed on the PSA Facebook page and aired on a delayed basis over Sports Radio 918. It will also be shared on the DZSR Sports Radio 918 Facebook page.
