EASL Finals: Utsunomiya beats Ryukyu to reach championship round

MACAU—Utsunomiya Brex outlasted fellow B.League powerhouse Ryukyu Golden Kings, 103-96, to advance to the title game of the East Asia Super League Finals on Friday night at Studio City Event Center. The Brex, who also survived a win-or-go-home quarterfinal against the New Taipei Kings, booked their spot in the championship round after pulling away late.
