The deployment includes 754 police for security in Quezon City, 128 personnel from the Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF), and 387 for anti-criminality operations in Metro East.
In addition, EOD/Canine, SWAT, and other special units will assist beat and mobile patrol teams in securing public areas where large crowds are expected, as part of the wider security measures for the President’s SONA.
EPD’s security preparations include strict personnel tracking, securing vital installations, enhanced traffic management, employment of force multipliers, and intensified counter-intelligence measures.
“Aligned with the Chief PNP’s 5-Minute Response Time Policy and the Triple A strategic framework—Able, Active, and Allied Police Force—we are committed to ensuring a peaceful, orderly, and secured SONA 2025,” EPD District Director Brig. Gen. Aden T. Lagradante said.
He added that their personnel are briefed, alert, and ready to act at once.
