The additional frequency is part of a strategic expansion to meet increasing demand from both business and leisure travelers for air travel between Singapore and Africa. The addition of the flight provides passengers with extra flexibility while also offering unmatched access to Ethiopian Airlines’ global network of over 145 destinations, including 60+ destinations within Africa.
“Singapore is a strategic market for us in the Asia Pacific,” said Telila Deressa Gutema, regional manager for Ethiopian Airlines. “This additional flight enables stronger connectivity for business travelers, tourists, and cargo operators. With travel demand between the region increases, we are committed to offer seamless travel options and convenient connections to our vast network.”
Addis Ababa Bole International Airport — Ethiopian Airlines’ main hub — is among the best-connected airports in Africa, offering convenient onward access to cities across East, West, and Southern Africa, as well as to Europe and the Americas.
This service expansion not only benefits business travelers and the growing number of Umrah pilgrims transiting via Addis Ababa but also taps into a rising interest among Free Independent Travelers drawn to Ethiopia’s rich history, vibrant culture, and unique landscapes.
