Ex-DOTr chief Bautista joins San Miguel unit as independent director

MANILA, Philippines — San Miguel Food and Beverage Inc. (SMFB) has elected former Transportation Secretary Jaime J. Bautista as an independent director. The company also named Monica L. Ang as treasurer, following a special meeting of its board on Thursday. In a disclosure, the SMFB said Bautista’s appointment takes effect immediately on Feb. 6, 2026.
