MANILA, Philippines —  Former Philippine Airlines (PAL) president Stanley Ng has been appointed undersecretary of the Department of Tourism.

The DOT, in a Facebook post, announced Ng as one of its undersecretaries who took their oath-taking recently.

The other DOT undersecretaries are Maria Victoria Jasmin and Maria Dionesia Rivera-Guillermo.

“With their experience from both the public and private sectors, they bring valuable expertise and leadership that will help boost the department’s programs to advance a more competitive, inclusive and sustainable Philippine tourism industry,” the DOT said.

Ng was appointed PAL president and chief operating officer in January 2022.
