Farm Fresh star Tubu is PVL MVP

Farm Fresh star Trisha Tubu capped a dominant 2026 campaign by winning the Season Most Valuable Player award at the 2nd Pilipinas Live PVL Press Corps Awards Night on May 30 at Novotel Manila Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City.

The 25-year-old opposite spiker topped the MVP race with a weighted score of 171.868, built from 50-percent statistics, 30-percent media votes and 20-percent team votes.

Tubu led all MVP candidates with 108.868 statistical points across the PVL On Tour, Invitationals and All-Filipino Conference. She also collected 50.4 media votes and 25.2 team votes to secure the league’s top individual honor.

Former Cignal standout Erika Santos of Capital1 finished second with 157.98 points, while reigning Season MVP Brooke Van Sickle of Nxled placed third with 155.229 points.

Capital1’s Vanie Gandler, the All-Filipino Conference MVP, ranked fourth with 152.634 points despite missing parts of two conferences.

Tubu’s season was marked by consistency as she won the Best Opposite Spiker award in all three conferences.

She also anchored Farm Fresh’s rise into contention after difficult first seasons. Before 2026, the Foxies had reached the playoffs only once in six conferences.

Behind Tubu, Farm Fresh reached the playoffs in all conferences this season, posted its best elimination-round finish during the PVL On Tour, and advanced to the franchise’s first semifinal appearance in the All-Filipino Conference.
