Filipinas through to AFC Women’s Asian Cup quarterfinals

MANILA, Philippines–The Philippine women’s football team advanced to the quarterfinals of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup following Vietnam’s 4-0 loss to Japan on Tuesday in Perth, Australia. The Filipinas kept their bid for a spot in the 2027 Fifa Women’s World Cup alive as Vietnam’s margin of defeat allowed them and Uzbekistan to get out
