CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A fisherman was reported to have died after he was attacked by a crocodile in Balabac, Palawan.
The remains of Jerry Cayao, 50, were found during a search and retrieval operation in Barangay Sebaring on Friday.
Chan Alsad, municipal disaster officer, said the body was turned over to his family.
Local officials reminded Balabac residents to remain vigilant, especially in areas known to be infested with crocodiles.
