MANILA, Philippines — After three decades of playing the lottery, a former seaman from Parañaque won the lotto jackpot of P20.1 million.
The lone winner of the Regular Lotto 6/42 guessed the six-digit combination 27-32-39-26-12-07 on July 18, which carried a prize of P20,167,956.53.
He claimed his windfall at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) central office in Mandaluyong on July 20.
The new millionaire said his wife has been the family’s breadwinner since he became jobless two years ago.
He said he plans to secure his children’s education, invest in a business and buy a house and lot for his family.
