CHRISTINE Sibal’s entrepreneurial journey began with 153 Coffee Co., a cozy café in Barretto, Olongapo, where students, remote workers, and regulars gather over sea salt lattes and the house-blend 153 Special.

“My husband and I love coffee,” she shared. “He trained as a barista. We just wanted a place to enjoy good coffee — and it became a full-blown café.”
From serving just five to 10 cups daily, they now serve up to 100, with added income from event coffee carts.
A year later, Christine launched Muy Bien Ihaw-Ihaw, a grilled chicken business rooted in a church initiative started 20 years ago to help members earn income.
Today, it has grown to 40 outlets across provinces, with Christine’s branch piloting a dine-in model.

Powering both businesses is Converge, her trusted fiber broadband provider.
“We used Converge at home, so it made sense for our businesses,” she said.
With Converge flexiBiz, Christine runs her POS, monitors CCTV remotely, and checks sales anytime.
Fast internet is also key for customers. “People stay to work or study, and they appreciate our free Wi-Fi. It keeps them coming back.”
Now planning more branches, Christine advises, “Passion comes first. If you love what you do, it will succeed — even if it’s not trendy.”
