THE country's newest Tongits provider, GameZone, successfully ended the historic five-day Tongits tournament in the Philippines, the "GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup (GTCC): Summer Showdown," held from June 12 to 15 in Makati City, with public streaming schedule from June 24 to 28 on the GameZone Facebook page.
The "GTCC: Summer Showdown" is the first-ever Tongits tournament of its kind in the country, offering an exciting experience by integrating both in-app and on-ground Tongits gameplay, with a prize pool of P10 million.
The tournament was joined by 135 elite Tongits players from across the country who qualified through the Tongits Free Multi-Table Tournament, which ran from April 25 to May 16, 2025.

Players were randomly grouped and battled for the three spots in the final showdown.
On the final day, the remaining top three players battled head-to-head in a 100-round championship game to win the grand prize of P5 million.
Beyond the competitive scene, the tournament was enjoyed by the treats at the studio and performances by the Pinoy pop group Press Hit Play and Filipino female rapper Queen Monica Money, who performed the official tournament anthem "Liga ng mga Hari."
