MANILA, Philippines — Tropical storm Gardo will exit the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) after its brief stay, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

PAGASA weather specialist John Manalo said Gardo will exit PAR by afternoon today.

Gardo entered PAR around 3 p.m. yesterday and will recurve to Japan.

Severe tropical storm Francisco exited PAR last night.
