Phoenix fell to 2-5.
Ginebra's dismantling of Phoenix had a lot to do with its 33 assists, thanks to former league Most Valuable Player Scottie Thompson, who finished with 13 dimes, while scoring 17 points.

Rookie RJ Abarrientos led Ginebra with 25 points, highlighting his game with a 5-of-8 shooting from downtown while Japeth Aguilar added 24 points and seven boards.
Stephen Holt finished with 18 points while Jamie Malonzo had 15 points with both Ginebra players knocking down four triples each.
Jason Perkins led Phoenix with 28 points even as RJ Jazul and Ken Tuffin added 18 and 17 points, respectively.
