MANILA, Philippines — Globe Telecom Inc. has partnered with the logistics arm of the Ayala Group for the telco’s warehousing and distribution needs.

In a statement, AC Logistics said the partnership was formalized on Feb. 16, through the launch of Globe’s warehousing and distribution operations at the logistics firm’s MCX Warehouse in Muntinlupa.

As Globe’s warehousing partner, AC Logistics will be responsible for managing the storage and handling of the telco’s trade materials such as SIMs, devices and retail collaterals.

AC Logistics will also manage the distribution of these products to partners across the country.

Located along the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway, the facility serves as a strategic hub for Globe for the efficient delivery of products to Metro Manila and CALABARZON, while supporting nationwide distribution.

Designed for high-volume and high-accuracy operations, the facility is expected to help Globe ensure faster fulfillment of orders from distributors and channels, as well as enhance product availability for customers.

“This partnership strengthens a critical part of our operation, ensuring that Globe products reach our customers and partners with consistency and speed,” Globe chief financial officer Carlo Puno said.

Through the partnership, AC Logistics is able to support Globe’s aim to promote a connected and digitally empowered Philippines.

“Our role is to ensure their supply chain moves with precision, reliability and the agility required by a nationwide operation,” AC Logistics president and CEO Erry Hardianto said.

The partnership also shows the Ayala Group’s commitment to synergy and operational excellence.
