MANILA, Philippines — Almost 200 families displaced by fires that struck Barangays Concepcion and Potrero in Malabon City on Dec. 27 received assistance from Sen. Bong Go.

“A lost life is a lost life forever,” Go told fire victims as he emphasized the irreplaceable value of life.

Community solidarity, he said, is important during difficult times.

Grocery packs, snacks, water containers, vitamins, balls, shirts and fans were distributed to 176 families, in coordination with local officials.
