The ceremony, which was well-attended by local residents, signified the growing recognition of pet care as an essential aspect of responsible pet ownership.
A key highlight of the program was the heartfelt speech delivered by VisMin operations head Emy Lustado, who, as a fur parent herself, spoke about the deep emotional connection between pet owners and their cherished companions.
She also emphasized the importance of pet memorialization, recognizing how it allows owners to find closure and honor their pets' memories in a meaningful way.
"Losing a pet is never easy, but knowing they are laid to rest with love and dignity brings comfort. This is what we want to offer to every pet owner in CDO, a place where they can say goodbye with peace in their hearts," she added.
