Gutierrez to educators: Uphold safety, accountability, justice in schools

MANILA, Philippines – More than 1,200 educators and education personnel gathered in Quezon City for this year’s Regional Assembly of Education Leaders, where Department of Justice (DOJ) Undersecretary Margarita Gutierrez underscored the need to strengthen safety, accountability, and justice in schools. Gutierrez stressed that many justice issues begin not in courts, but in classrooms—where students
