Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration

MANILA, Philippines — The wizarding winter-themed "Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration" will debut in the Philippines later this year, just in time for the country's early Christmas celebrations.'

The experience is based on the titular ball that takes place in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" where students from Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang gather to celebrate Christmas Eve with one another as a form of international magical cooperation.

Three students — in the case of "Goblet of Fire," four including Harry — represent the schools in the Triwizard Tournament, a difficult competition with three extremely dangerous tasks.

"Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration" has successful tours in Milan, Montreal, Sydney, and Mexico City, and will find a temporary home in Parañaque's The Space at Solaire beginning September 3 — and as all Filipinos know, Christmas in the Philippines starts in September.

Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, Fever, and GMG Productions are the three parties bringing the experience to Manila, tickets for which will be available publicly at TicketWorld by July 21.

What to expect

"Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration" will be an enchanting, festive experience ideal for groups, couples and sole wizards or witches alike.

The Space at Solaire will be turned into the titular wintertime ball featuring music from the "Goblet of Fire" movie original soundtrack and decorations reminiscent of Hogwarts' Great Hall — silver draping, Christmas trees, and tailor-made scenic pieces.

Guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, photo opportunities, themed drinks, a fashion parade, and welcome dances, the latter amplified by the "Champion Waltz" dance-off competition overseen by two Masters of Ceremony.

Those attending are encouraged to dress up in their best formal Wizarding World attire. Official "Harry Potter" merchandise will also be sold at a Yule Ball market.

Ticket prices for "Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration" are as follows:

P2,750 onwards - General Admission
P2,250 onwards - General Admission for senior citizens and persons with disabilities
P4,250 onwards - VIP
P1,500 onwards - children betwen 4 and 10 years old in Family Sessions
P9,000 onwards - 4-Ticket Bundle
