Honor is reportedly prepping to launch the HONOR 400 Series of smartphones in China and select markets.
Now, recent leak has revealed some details about the HONOR 400 and 400 Pro models for the global market, though it’s still unclear whether the specifications will be the same for both the global and Chinese versions.
The HONOR 400 and 400 Pro, with model numbers DNN-AN00 and DNP-AN00, have both passed certification by China’s CMIIT authority (China’s radio certification platform), hinting a launch event is imminent.
Regarding their key specs, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some details. The HONOR 400 will feature a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
Meanwhile, the 400 Pro, is expected to have a slightly larger 6.69-inch OLED screen with the same 1.5K resolution and will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. There are also rumors of an HONOR 400 Ultra model, though details on this device are still scarce.
For the global versions, reports suggest the HONOR 400 will use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the Pro variant will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. In terms of cameras, both models are expected to feature a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel front camera. The 400 Pro may also include a 50-megapixel telephoto lens.
Both devices are likely to come with a 5300mAh battery, with the standard 400 supporting 66W charging and the 400 Pro supporting faster 100W charging. In Europe, the HONOR 400 could be priced around 468 euros.
