MANILA, Philippines — DoubleDragon Corp. is gearing up for an even higher occupancy level at its first operational international property in the coming months after reaching a new milestone.

In a stock exchange filing, DoubleDragon said the 680-room Hotel101 in Madrid, Spain has reached 5,000 international customer reviews on Booking.com, earning a very high 9.1 out of 10 rating in less than five months since it opened.

After achieving 100 percent occupancy many times, the company said Hotel101-Madrid is now preparing “for even higher occupancy levels and high room rates” ahead of major upcoming events, including Real Madrid football matches and the maiden Formula 1 Grand Prix.

“Hotel101-Madrid stands as the perfected global prototype for Hotel101 Global – a fully calibrated business model now ready for hyper-scaling,” DoubleDragon said.

“This performance advances the company’s vision of expanding to one million uniform Hotel101 rooms across 100 countries worldwide, in line with DoubleDragon’s goal to eventually make Hotel101 become the largest single-brand uniform hotel chain in the world,” it said.

Hotel101-Madrid, which officially opened in March 2026, is the first Hotel101-branded property to operate outside the Philippines.

It is located on a prime 6,593-square-meter site and is one of the top five largest hotels in Madrid by room count.

It has been designated as the official hotel partner for the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from 2026 to 2035 through an exclusive agreement with MATCH Hospitality Europe.
