House leaders unite: Right to Information Law nears passage

MANILA, Philippines — After more than 30 years since the first Freedom of Information measure was introduced in Congress, lawmakers on Tuesday renewed efforts to formally guarantee Filipinos’ right to access government information through the proposed Right to Information Act of 2026. During the plenary session of the House of Representatives, House Committee on Public
