Among the new products that Huawei unveiled in Malaysia is the new open-ear wireless buds, dubbed as the HUAWEI FreeArc.

The buds use a soft silicone material and features a hook design that goes above the user’s ear, providing a 140-degree optimal triangle for a secure fit.

Inside each bud is a 17 by 12 mm highly sensitive sound driver, in which Huawei claims to offer punchy bass and rich audio detail.

As for battery life, the buds can last seven hours on a single charge and up to 28 hours with the charging case.

For added protection, the buds have IP57 rating for dust and water resistance.

Price and availability

The HUAWEI FreeArc is currently launched for Malaysia, priced at MYR 599. No word yet on availability in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, other newly launched devices such as the new HUAWEI Mate XT tri-folding phone and the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch are now open for local pre-orders in the country.
