MANILA, Philippines — MAP Active Philippines opened Sports Direct's first store in the Philippines at a Parañaque mall, officially welcoming Filipino consumers to one of the UK’s largest and most iconic sports retailers.

Bringing its signature multi-sport, multi-brand model to the country, Sports Direct Philippines offers an extensive range of apparel, footwear, equipment, and accessories for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and active families.

Its assortment spans key categories including football, running, training, outdoor, swimming, and racket sports such as badminton, pickleball, and tennis.

As a major sports retail destination in the UK, the store carries leading international brands alongside its exclusive British homegrown labels such as Karrimor, Everlast, Lonsdale, Slazenger, and USA Pro.

In the Philippines, the store also features a strong lineup of MAP brand partners including Nike, Adidas, Skechers, New Balance, Converse, Lotto, Diadora, Airwalk, and Ellesse, as well as key sports performance brands like Speedo, Wilson, and Yonex.

MAP Philippines Country Manager Anil Malhotra said in a statement the opening "represents our commitment to expanding access to high-quality sportswear and equipment.
