SM City Fairview became the hotspot for all things cute, cuddly, and collectible earlier this month with the launch of the ‘Kawaii Craze’ summer market. The mall’s Atrium was filled with a dazzling selection of trinkets—or anik-anik—from beloved brands like Coolectzone, Tickles, Station by SM, Toy Kingdom, SM Store, Pastel Baby, Art Monster, Blue Magic, Co. The Collectibles, and Tom’s World.

Anik-anik girlies and dudes cuddled up and met the squad of adorable bears at the #SMBearSquad Takeover. Charming buskers filled Lullaby Lane with sweet tunes. Participants also collected stamps and won awesome giveaways at Stamp Quest, and brought their charm ideas to life through a series of Charm Workshops.

“Kawaii Craze” also featured a variety of zones, including The Giant Bear and The Funky Mirror Wall. The Keychain Library invited participants to swap a keychain or leave one to brighten someone else’s day. DIY Corners gave crafters a chance to personalize friendship bracelets and charms. Guests also tried their luck at winning adorable plushies from claw machines at Catch-a-Cutie.
