Seong Gi Hun is stopping at nothing to put an end to the deadly “Squid Game.”
The final trailer for the third and last season saw Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) speaking to Jang Geum Ja or Player 149 (Kang Ae Shim) as scenes from the first two seasons flashed onscreen.
“Are you blaming yourself for everything that happened? No matter how you look at it, life is just unfair. Bad people do bad things, but they blame others and go on to live in peace. Good people, on the other hand, beat themselves up about the smallest things,” Jang Geum Ja said.
She tells Seong Gi Hun, “I still believe that you came here to save us all.”
The Frontman then called for Seong Gi Hun.
“I’m trying to put an end to it,” he said before the trailer ended.
A previous teaser revealed that there will be more deadly games in the third season. A poster also revealed two murderous dolls for the iconic Red Light, Green Light game.
“Squid Game” became a worldwide sensation since its premiere in 2021.
Following the success of the first season, several cast members won top acting awards from renowned international organizations like the Golden Globes and SAG Awards.
Right before the second season premiered, it got nominated for the Golden Globes in the Best Television Series – Drama category.
