ABS-CBN's "Incognito," one of the most-watched shows on Netflix PH and iWantTFC, continues to raise the bar for Filipino action series. Its stars recently shared how they worked as a tight-knit team while braving extreme weather conditions in Itogon, Benguet and Yamagata, Japan.
At the show's mid-season mediacon, Richard Gutierrez, who plays JB Bonifacio, recalled their intense two-week shoot in Yamagata.
"It was extremely cold and snowed every day. We even experienced a real snowstorm. It was definitely challenging for everyone. And after that, it felt like we could be taken anywhere. That kind of experience made me feel like I can handle anything, no matter where you bring me," he said.
Daniel Padilla, on the other hand, shared that they faced two drastically different climates in Itogon and Japan — the former being very hot and the latter intensely cold. But he expressed that all the hardships were "worth it" and that he's proud to be part of "Incognito."
"I like this genre because I learned a lot. It tests me. Sometimes I don't know if I can still do it, but I push myself to the limit — and it turns out, I actually can," he said.

Padilla's portrayal of Andres, a brother in search of Jun, has become a highlight among viewers.
In the midseason trailer, the Kontraks are assigned to capture a certain Kenji Lee, who is involved in an organized crime group. The Kontraks face Japanese hostiles and engage in hand-to-hand and bloody combat in the icy streets of the fictional Nihon, Japan. Andres Malvar (Padilla) will also uncover a new revelation about Jun's disappearance.
When asked about the audience's curiosity regarding the character of Jun, Creative Manager Jay Fernando said he is "happy that the audiences are engaged not just in the action scenes or the Kontraks, but also in each and every character's journey."
He added that viewers should look forward to the new mission in Japan because of its significant impact on the Kontraks' lives and how it will shed light on the mysterious identities of El Cano, Raven, and more.
Joining Gutierrez and Padilla in the star-studded cast are Ian Veneracion as 'Kontraktor'Greg Paterno, Baron Geisler as Miguel Tecson, Kaila Estrada as Max Alvero, Maris Racal as Gab Rivera, and Anthony Jennings as Tomas Guerrero.
Will the Kontraks survive their toughest mission yet in Japan? Can they defeat their fierce opponents and complete the mission, or will they face another loss out in the cold?
