PLARIDEL, Bulacan — A training aircraft crash-landed on an agricultural field in Barangay Lalangan, Plaridel, Bulacan on Friday afternoon, March 28.

Capt. Valentin Torres III and his student, Johann Kyle San Diego, survived but no information yet on the extent of their injuries.

They were transported to Marcelo-Padilla Children and Medical Hospital in Barangay Banga 1.

The aircraft, bearing tail number RP-C896 and operated by Fliteline Aviation, was on a routine flight when it went down. The cause of the crash is still being determined.

Personnel from the Plaridel Airport Police Station led by pilot Rodel Ngo, along with responders from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines' Airport Rescue and Firefighter and Security and Intelligence Services, arrived around before 3 p.m. to verify the incident.
