The Italian Film Festival 2025 will be showing two Italian movies for free this Saturday!
The film festival will screen Umberto Carteni's "Quasi Orfano" and Daniele Luchetti's "Momenti Di Trascurabile Felicita (Ordinary Happiness)" at Cinema 2, Level 4, in SM Aura, Taguig City on June 7 at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.
The event is organized by the Italian Embassy in Manila, and supported by the Film Development Council of the Philippines.
Admission to the screenings on June 7 is free on a first-come first-served basis. According to the FDCP, there will also be film screenings on June 6, but by invitation only.
"Quasi Orfano" (2022) follows Valentino, a successful designer in Milan who rediscovers his roots when his family who he has cut ties with suddenly attempts to reconnect with him.
Meanwhile, "Momenti Di Trascurabile Felicita (Ordinary Happiness)" (2019) centers on Paolo, a man who dies from an accident but is given the chance to return to Earth for 92 minutes due to an error in the afterlife.
