Ivana Alawi has opened up on her experiences with freeloading guys.
On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the actress and content creator answered straight when the King of Talk asked her if she was a sugar mommy before.
"Opo, proud sugar mama. Baklang-bakla 'to," she said. "Mapagbigay talaga ako Tito Boy, mapagregalo ako."
Ivana talked about two men, one non-showbiz and one actor, who both got involved with her but did not progress into a relationship.
For the non-showbiz guy, she spent money on food, gas, and the occasional allowance.
"Akala ko kasi mapuputulan siya ng kuryente, kala ko may mangyayari sa kanya pag 'di ko nabigyan ng allowance kaya 'yun," she said.
For the actor, meanwhile, Ivana paid for hotel stays, dinner dates (even their bottles of wine!), and branded gifts. He also asked for a watch, but she did not give him one.
Ivana also recalled a funny incident when she had to share half of her food with the guy.
"'Yung pinakasama 'yung loob ko, hotdog na nga lang. Mahilig ako sa hotdog na may sandwich ha. Tapos s'yempre kaya kong ubusin 'yung isa kasi gutom ako. Hinatian niya ko kasi daw kulang ng budget," she said.
"Bayad ko naman 'yun hindi siya umorder tapos humati sa akin," she added.
Tito Boy then asked Ivana when she stopped getting involved with those guys.
"Na-realize ko maganda naman ako, hindi naman ako chaka. At saka na-realize ko bagets naman ako. Hindi ako matanda, parang, bakit mo ko pineperahan?" she said.
"Pero dapat hindi mo rin peperahan ang matanda at mga bagets ha," she added. "Dapat in general 'wag ka na mamera. Nasa relasyon ka para sa pag-ibig hindi para sa pera."
Ivana recently joined the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" as a house guest. She stayed inside Bahay ni Kuya for a week and got shipped with Dustin Yu. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
