Family, friends, and fans alike continue to mourn the loss of the late Superstar, Nora Aunor.
From visiting her wake to sharing heartfelt tributes online, many found their own ways to express grief over the sudden passing of the National Artist.
Among the wave of sadness, netizens also expressed deep sympathy for actress Janine Gutierrez.
It turns out that Janine lost both her grandmothers, Nora Aunor and Pilita Corrales, within the same month.
On Instagram, Janine took a moment to honor her beloved "Mama Guy" through a heartfelt message.
"A treasure to our family but truly always more the people's than ours. She had a life of giving her immeasurable love to everyone she touched whether on screen, through music, or in person," Janine wrote.
She also thanked Nora's loyal supporters for their overwhelming love during this difficult time.
"Please keep our family in your prayers, especially Mama, Uncle Ian, Ate Matet, Kuya Kiko, and Ken, as we say goodbye. We find comfort in knowing she, the one and only Superstar, will be forever loved," she added.
Followers quickly flooded the comment section with messages of condolences and love. Celebrities such as Carla Abellana and Kakie Pangilinan also sent their heartfelt support to Janine and her family.
Nora Aunor passed away on April 16 at the age of 71. Her children, Ian De Leon and Lotlot De Leon, announced her passing through social media.
"She was the heart of our family -- a source of unconditional love, strength, and warmth. Her kindness, wisdom, and beautiful spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be missed beyond words and remembered forever," Ian wrote.
Lotlot also shared details of Nora's wake. Public viewing will be held on April 19 to 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Chapels at Heritage Park.
Nora's internment is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City. Details regarding the late actress' funeral are yet to be announced.
