BAGUIO CITY — The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has announced it has signed agreements with several sublessees of Camp John Hay Development Corp. (CJHDevCo) for fresh lease terms.
These agreements covered the Forest Estates, Country Homes, Golf Estates, and Forest Cabins at the former US recreation facility.
Following the Supreme Court's final ruling allowing BCDA to recover the Camp John Hay property, the BCDA had signed over 40 new residential agreements with sub-lessees of CJHDevCo.
BCDA has also been in talks with other stakeholders to come up with new term sheets for their residential leases in Camp John Hay.
BCDA president and CEO Joshua Bingcang said BCDA is already preparing term sheets for the other residential lessees, majority of which are expected to be finalized and signed in the coming days.

BCDA is set to conduct a review of Camp John Hay's over 25-year comprehensive master plan to align it with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
It aims to replicate the successes of Bonifacio Global City in Taguig and New Clark City in Tarlac by implementing infrastructure projects and bringing in high-impact investments that will provide socioeconomic opportunities for the local community and enable BCDA to contribute more to the state coffers.
