MANILA, Philippines — Chronically online Filipino fans were quick to notice that actor John Lloyd Cruz no longer follows his girlfriend Isabel Santos and vice versa, prompting talks that the two may have split.
A quick look at each other's Instagram profiles — johnlloydcruz83 for John Lloyd and isabelreyesantos for Isabel — shows that neither individual is on the other's followers list.
John Lloyd only follows 23 people like peers such as Bea Alonzo, Piolo Pascual, Maja Salvador, Iza Calzado and Luis Manzano. However, Isabel is no longer among them.
The artist, meanwhile, has a larger follower count but similarly is no longer following the actor. Additionally, the comments section of Isabel's Instagram posts has been limited.
They do still follow each other on John Lloyd's other account with the handle dumpsitegallery. A photo of Isabel appears in one that profile's posts last November. However, that and other posts, like Isabel's, have limited the people allowed to comment.

The most recent photo of the two together on either's main profiles was one posted by artist and writer Patrick de Veyra, who jointly tagged Isabel in photos of the trio in Milan last October.
Isabel, a descendant of the late Mauro "Malang" Santos and John Lloyd, started dating in 202. But their relationship was publicized until the actor confirmed it in October 2023.
The couple continued to keep their relationship private, rarely posting pictures of themselves or of the other person.
John Lloyd has a co-parenting set-up with ex-partner Ellen Adarna for their son Elias. Ellen herself is in the middle of break-up talks with husband Derek Ramsay.
Ellen, John Lloyd and Isabel were all present for a piano recital featuring Elias last month.
