Jollibee to acquire Korea’s top hot pot chain for $87M

MANILA, Philippines — Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) has signed a deal to acquire South Korea’s leading hot pot chain operator. This marks the firm’s entry into one of the fastest-growing global dining segments. In a statement Friday, the fast-food giant said its 70-percent owned subsidiary, Jolli-K Co. Ltd., will fully acquire All Day Fresh Co.
