BTS's Jimin and Jungkook delighted their fans with a heartfelt surprise Weverse Live appearance shortly after completing their mandatory military service in South Korea.

The two members, who were officially discharged earlier this week, took to the fan platform to reconnect with ARMY and share their gratitude for the unwavering love and support they received throughout their enlistment.

Jimin and Jungkook appeared together, dressed in military uniform.

During the stream, Jimin shared, "Time really didn't go by. A week has been like a month."

Jimin confessed, "I was really anxious when we enlisted. I was quite distressed when we entered the training camp."

He added, "Jungkook, on the other hand, was fine. I struggled for five weeks, but Jungkook was a great support, always reminding me how fast time flies." He continued, "Once we were assigned to our units, the roles reversed. Jungkook started feeling the strain, and I was there to support him. We really leaned on each other."

Jungkook revealed, "There were many days when I couldn't sleep." He also mentioned that throughout their service, the two frequently discussed their future musical plans and activities with the other members.

"The most I want to say to the fans is that I'm so grateful for waiting in a place where I can't do anything," Jungkook expressed. "I hope there will be a day when I can prepare and repay you."

He added, "When we were in the military, fans did fan support for us with events and ad buses, so we wanted to thank you for that."

What I wanted to say the most is, thank you for waiting.

The live broadcast was filled with laughter, nostalgia, and emotional moments as the duo reflected on their military experience, their excitement to be back, and what lies ahead for them individually and as part of BTS. Though no specific plans were revealed, fans were thrilled simply to see the pair reunited and smiling.

On June 10, BTS's RM and V also completed their military service and have been officially discharged.

Their return marks a significant step toward BTS's full group reunion, with all members expected to complete their service by 2025. Until then, Jimin and Jungkook's heartfelt message has reassured ARMY that their bond with their fans remains unshakable -- no matter the distance or time apart.
